This extensive renovation was designed for a fellow Syracuse University Alum and fraternity brother. His family had established root in the community and the location provided easy access to Westchester County and New York City. Plus, sitting on a few acres, there was plenty of room for his brood of adventurous kids. The design brief was to take a relatively modest builders-grade Colonial and turn it into something special.
We virtually encased the existing home to provide additional living spaces, services spaces, and an extra garage bay. The new wings flanking the existing house with their distinctive red brick chimneys anchor the house to the site and create an entrance court.
